Mike Spence

Photography has always been a part of Mike Spence's life. At ten years old, his grandfather introduced him to the magic of black-and-white film processing, transforming the family bathroom into a makeshift darkroom. Though those early prints have long since disappeared, the impulse to document never faded. Today, Mike captures the life of New York City during his daily commute by bus, subway, on foot, and ferry, finding moments in the everyday.
