ChaShaMa Studios
In early 2025, Community Access Art Collective’s Lower East Side studio temporarily closed for mold remediation, leaving the group without a home for several months. The collective was deeply grateful when Chashama, a New York City nonprofit dedicated to providing space for artists, welcomed them into their Midtown studios. This space became a home base, allowing members to create murals, produce large-scale paintings, screen print, and spend long, uninterrupted hours fully immersed in their practice.
